Now that all the hubbub surround Jetblue's inaugural flight to Saint Lucia is over, we're free to focus on the important things, like getting on the beach and into the warm Caribbean waters, and that's exactly what we did yesterday afternoon during a scuba dive at the northern tip of the island, from the Cariblue Beach at the BodyHoliday LeSPORT resort.

It's weird to think that we've been diving for over 11 years now, and yet we learn new things each time we let out all the air and sink beneath the surface. And so for all you seasoned and wannabe divers, we'll let you in on a few things you've just got to know about diving here in the southern Caribbean, but specifically Saint Lucia because duh—we've got the recent firsthand experience.

Amy Winehouse has been hiding out on the island of St. Lucia for quite some time was all set to perform at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival this weekend. Except, no, no no she didn't.

Her rep says the concert was cut short because of heavy rain. However, she did make it on stage as this video from YouTube shows. Except it took her quite some time to get it started (around the 1:50 mark.) BV Newswire reports:

Adorned in her trademark beehive, heavy mascara and a slinky electric blue minidress, the 'You Know I'm No Good' singer seemed to struggle to remember some of her best known recorded material, mumbled through a few verses and guzzled an unknown concoction while on stage. Although audiences seemed to weather the storm, one thing became apparent: Winehouse didn't.

Amy reportedly walked off midway through the set, never even performing "Rehab." That's when the "Blame it on the Rain" excuse came in, even though the stage was encased and covered by a roof. Note to all future Amy Winehouse concert ticket-holders: Please try to get a refund now.

Last week we wrote about a man who was unsuccessfully trying to get into the U.K.; now we've found the person whose place he could take, if immigration worked like that. Having only recently returned home from Jamaica, Amy Winehouse is trying desperately to get out again -- but as with the '08 Grammys, she won't be getting into America so easily.

Winehouse's problem is not the rumors of drug use nor her connection to potentially-soon-to-be-ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently released from prison. Rather, the retro-fantastic singer was charged with assault after allegedly hitting a fan who snapped a picture of her, and will have to appear in court next week. No visa means no performance at California's trumpeted Coachella festival next month, where sun-drenched music lovers will have to content themselves with other acts like Morrissey and the Killers.

Having seen Winehouse in a festival setting similar to Coachella's in 2007, it's perhaps not the best venue to see her in -- but since she doesn't seem to be doing any cabaret tours, we'd say she is worth the ticket price in all her wackiness. Worth traveling for? Well, that's another story.

So news broke this week that Jennifer Aniston allegedly got a $56,000 haircut before heading off on her latest promotional jaunt as her adorable-dog movie "Marley and Me" debuts in Europe. Well, it wasn't just a haircut; that included plane tickets and other travel arrangements for her stylist as well as daily do's. Celebrities! They so crazy!

Well, with all due respect, Aniston isn't getting bailed out by the federal government to keep her tresses shipshape. It's her money and she might as well blow it on something that keeps her happy. Since she’s been menacing the Caribbean since December, Amy Winehouse hasn’t graced London with her presence for a while. Most of us are rejoicing that we don’t have to see her nightly escapades in the papers every day. But it’s a bit of a blow for The Hawley Arms. The Camden pub is her local drinking hole, and whenever Amy’s around, it’s guaranteed to get mentioned in the press.

Around the world, the last New Year's Eve overpartiers are finally crawling into work--but not your favorite celebrities. We figure anyone on a beach this week is just rubbing it in, so let's examine the culprits:

"Heroes" costars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia walked along a beach in Bora Bora toward their private villa. Also in the Pacific, Kate Moss took her boyfriend Jamie Hince to Surin Beach on Phuket, where she once got married (in a non-binding ceremony) to ex Pete Doherty. Might history repeat itself?

Meanwhile, among those dipping their toes into the Atlantic were Amy Winehouse, who seemed not to leave her house in 2008 at all until this trip to St. Lucia. Jude Law stepped off the London set of "Sherlock Holmes" long enough to take his kids to Copacabana Beach in Rio. And the celebrity-ridden beaches of Cabo provided Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli with a beach holiday and Jennifer Aniston a potential respite from the rumors about her very Mayer Christmas. Must be nice! We're going to go put another sweater on.

Only a geographic imbecile would confuse Spain and Brazil, two countries dissimilar in size, language and continent. But if you're looking for the Rock in Rio concert taking place this weekend, better pack your Spanish-English dictionary: After three editions in Brazil, the fest is expanding its reach and has already held concert blowouts in Lisbon and Madrid.

Organizers are banking that the words "Rock in Rio" can become a brand like Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza, not just a callback to the home of samba and Gisele. This final weekend of Rock in Rio, held in the Madrid suburb of Arganda del Rey, will feature The Police, Franz Ferdinand, Amy Winehouse and Bob Dylan.

Tickets start at €65 ($102) a day.
