<description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://www.jaunted.com/files/5957/shawn_johnson_president_bush_02.jpg"> <p>Light enough to carry on: Gold medal winning gymnast <b>Shawn Johnson</b> lands at Reagan National before heading to the White House to meet <b>President Bush</b> along with a delegation of other Olympians. <p>The race may be won, the distinctions awarded, but for most Olympic athletes the sprint to take advantage of their 15 minutes of fame is still going on. (We recently saw <b>Usain Bolt</b> leaving David Letterman's stage, and he looked <em>ti-yerd</em>.) <p>Not every returning hero gets a <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/story/2008/9/9/12279/58584/travel/Foxy+Swimmer+Travel%3A+%22Phelpstival%22+Finally+Official">Phelpstival</a>, but those endorsements and that attention will only be up for grabs for so long before Americans forget about the Olympics. <description><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://www.jaunted.com/files/5957/zac_vanessa_lax.jpg"> <p>Wait, <em>Sweden</em> gets it first? <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/Zac%20Efron">Zac Efron</a></b> and <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/Vanessa%20Hudgens">Vanessa Hudgens</a></b> bravely risk the ire of American tweens by leaving for Stockholm via <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/lax">LAX</a></b> to promote their forthcoming flick, "High School Musical 3: Senior Year." <p>To the best of our knowledge, "HSM3" is the final chapter in the Disney phenomenon that began as a January TV movie and spawned a world of merchandise and a reality show, locking Efron, Hudgens and costars like <b>Ashley Tisdale</b> out of the Disney stable. <p>Tisdale shot a New Zealand-set children's movie earlier this year, but Efron's turn as a young stage actor in <b>Richard Linklater</b>'s latest project "Me and Orson Welles" got just lukewarm reviews.
