Amy Adams attracted some unwanted attention while collecting her luggage at Vancouver International Airport. The actress proved she's a master multi-tasker as she scolded the paparazzi while pushing her own luggage cart through the terminal.

Amy is in town to continue work on Superman: Man of Steel, which has moved from Chicago, where they were filming this summer, to Vancouver Island.

Earlier this week Amy's co-stars, Russell Crowe and Henry Cavill, were spotted filming on Main St in Ucluelet, where the cast will continue filming through Friday.

Around the world airport in 80 days—are you up for it? In a crazy move that kinda makes us wish we were Canadian, Vancouver Airport is looking for someone to live in the airport for 80 days from August 17-November 4, telling the airport's "story" through videos.

Have you ever read that small book on airport life—A Week at the Airport—by Alain de Botton? The author spent only a week at London-Heathrow's gleaming Terminal 5, interviewing behind-the-scenes staff, eavesdropping on farewell conversations, contemplating hotel service and physically sitting at a desk in the terminal, writing about it all. Tis the season for back-ups at airport check-in desks and clogs at security, but never did we think that an airline would encourage such crowding during the prime holiday travel season. But then, Air Canada is a little different, hm? A few days ago, at Vancouver International Airport, 60 dancers joined together to form an Air Canada-sponsored flashmob.

The cute little event, which appears to have gone down during a slow evening period at the airport (thank god), involved young people donning Santa hats and going all out in dancing to a live rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."

We’ve done our share of taste-testing at airports around the country, and we certainly have our favorites when it comes to the fancy and not-so-fancy options for airport eats. Now we have the official opinion when it comes to airport concessions, as Airports Council International-North America released their picks for some of the best eats within North America.

Top honors go to our friends north of the border in Vancouver, as the airport scored the overall award of excellence thanks to its 167 shops, restaurants, and other businesses. Officials especially like their different plazas and “streets” that feature all kinds of different stuff from British Columbia. We’re sure a healthy dose of Tim Horton’s coffee—with Timbits of course—helped out their cause a bit. Sea, mountains, and a neverending stream of international jumbo jets and itty-bitty island-hoppers make Vancouver Airport truly interesting to both amateur and serious plane spotters. The best place to set up shop, or even just go for a leisurely stroll underneath landing planes, is on the Iona Jetty at Iona Beach Park.
