True Blood returned Sunday night for its fourth season, bringing humans and vampires together once again at their favorite hang out, Fangtasia. Fangtasia doesn't actually exist in that name, though some fans wish it did. Exteriors of the bar are filmed at Alex's Bar, 2913 E. Anaheim St in Long Beach, CA, while the interiors are shot on a Los Angeles soundstage. We bet Alex's Bar makes a killing (ha) selling souvenirs to curious True Blood fans.

There might not be a real Fangtasia but there are plenty of other bars across the country willing to cater to the vampire set. According to vampire commentator Michelle Belanger, "These places do exist." Today is the last day you can purchase tickets to the The Memnoch Resurrection Ball in New Orleans. The annual event will be held on Friday, October 29, at Republic, 828 South Peters Street, from 9:00 The show starts at 9:00 pm to 2:00 am. The ball is being sponsored by the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat Fan Club in celebration of her book, Memnoch The Devil.

Though Anne Rice won't actually be attending the ball, it will feature live bands and special guests, like Dacre Stoker, the great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker. This last weekend held more surprises for fans of HBO's hit show "True Blood" than just the revelations of the newest episode; the stars of the vampire thriller—Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse and Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton—wed on Saturday in Malibu, California.

The couple met on the True Blood set and begin dating early into the first season, but did not reveal their relationship until last year. Devoted True Blood fans would have said that the chemistry between Sookie the waitress and Bill the vampire was palpable, but the real-life wedding of the actors takes it to a new level.

So what lovely destination did the couple choose for their secret wedding? A friend's house, right on the surf in Malibu, set the stage for the purple-themed ceremony. The CW recently jumped on the vampire bandwagon with The Vampire Diaries. The series was destined to be hit as it is executive produced by Dawson's Creek head honcho Kevin Williamson and is based on a series of popular teen novels. It also has all the ingredients of a great teen drama: a girl who is grieving the recent death of her parents and who deals with two brothers who are both into her and have been waging a war against each other for most of their lives, which equals about 150 years since they also happen to be vampires.

The show is set in the small town of Mystic Falls, VA but is filmed in Convington, GA.
