Robert Pattinson began shooting his latest movie, Remember Me, in New York City this week. His character in the movie, Tyler Roth, is a young man whose family is torn apart by his brother's recent suicide. It's not exactly an uplifting summer blockbuster but it might give him some street cred with critics who were less than impressed with his work in Twilight.
Naturally, he still can't escape the Tween Twilighters and Pattinson caused quite a stir when he filmed exterior shots in Washington Square Park on Monday. Over 200 girls lined the perimeter of the park watching him film and as he emerged onto the street once the shoot was over they descended on him, pulling at his clothes, screaming his name and literally, throwing themselves on him. ]]>
