Okay, so if you didn't hear (because who reads print magazines these days, amirite?), Los Angeles was ranked by Travel + Leisure as being the rudest city in America. No, not New York—Los Angeles. Let's hear it for traffic on the 405!
The feature comes as part of T+L's annual "Favorite Cities Survey," which asks readers to rank 35 cities on 54 features, "including affordable hotels, great restaurants, romance potential, and the overall personality of the locals." Los Angeles even managed to pass Las Vegas with its stoney-faced bouncers, Dallas with its hardcore conservatives and Boston with its die-hard sports fans.
