Remember the best-selling book 1000 Places to See Before You Die? You know, the tome everyone who enjoys travel received for Christmas in like, 2004? Perhaps the best part of that book was the ability to go through and count up all of the spots you've already hit and plot for the rest.
We recommend doing something similar with Cintas' list of America's Best Restrooms, all currently vying for the title with voting open through July 31.

Esquire's Best New Restaurants in the US

Now is the time of year when magazines, newspapers, and web sites fill out their columns with items placed in a non-arbitrary order -- best-of lists, if you will. And that means it's also time for Fimoculous and his incredibly handy list of Best Lists. We'll be taking a periodic look at some of the travel-related lists as the year keeps winding down. First up is Esquire's list of the best restaurants in the U.S. Full list after the jump.

AskMen.com gets in touch with their inner US Weekly-lover and names the top ten hotels to gawk at celebrities. The hotels are primarily divided between the celeb-whorin' spots of New York and Los Angeles, although there's a little Miami and Utah (what the hell?) thrown in for good measure.
Here's their list:

W New York Times Square; New York, NY

Plaza Hotel; New York, NY

The Shore Club; South Beach, FL

Sundance Resort; Provo Canyon, UT

Hotel Bel-Air; Los Angeles, CA

Delano; South Beach, FL

SoHo Grand Hotel; New York, NY

The Waldorf-Astoria; New York, NY

Mondrian; Los Angeles, CA

The Beverly Hills Hotel; Los Angeles, CA

Conspicuously absent from the list are the Hotel Roosevelt and the Chateau-Marmont, both in Los Angeles, and both favorite spots of the "Do you know who I AM?" crowd.
Being eagle-eyed losers, we did spot a few mistakes on the list: namely, um, that the Plaza is closed, guys. Also, while all the W's are lovely, the Bliss spa mentioned in the article isn't at the W in Times Square but at the W on 49th and Lexington. (Like the readers of AskMen.com are really going to care about that, anyway.)
Related Stories
· Top 10: Hotels To Spot Celebs [AskMen.com]
