Washington: Army and Navy Set to Battle on the Field in Washington DC

They’re all part of one big happy family that is the US Military, but when it comes to football, members of the Army and Navy are far from friends. For the like one millionth time—actually it’s the 112th meeting—the two military academies are set to meet for a little game of football on December 10, just outside Washington DC.
The game has a long history of being played in Philadelphia, but this year a change of venue brings the teams—and the fans—to FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. That won’t stop military men and women from making the road trip out to the DC suburbs to cheer for their respective branch of the Armed Services.

Green Bay: How and Where to Celebrate The Packers' Return Home to Green Bay

Now that the Super Bowl is over the real party begins, but unfortunately it’s only open to fans of the Green Bay Packers—sorry Steeler fans. The folks in Green Bay are a little more low key when it comes to celebrating—or just better behaved—so we haven’t heard of any flipped over cars or fires in the streets, but there is quite the celebration planned for later today.
The Green Bay Police Department must have known something that we didn’t, as they had the Packers parade route prepared before the weekend even began. The NFL champions will return to Austin Straubel airport later today, and the team will make their way to Lambeau Field to a very warm welcome home.

However, if you made it to the Dallas area—or just live there—there’s still plenty of other stuff to do before heading to Hooters to watch this year’s big game.
Every year the Super Bowl becomes a bigger and bigger entertainment event, and this year is no exception. The NFL brings way more than just the Packers and Steelers into town, and for 2011 the NFL Experience makes its return for its 19th edition of bringing fans and football together adjacent to all the Super Bowl hoopla.

Arlington: Jetsetter Can Help You Get To This Year's Super Bowl

The NFL playoff picture has now been figured out, and it’s only about one month until the Super Bowl hits Dallas—well, Arlington—on February 6. Expect the biggest Super Bowl to date, simply because the new Cowboys Stadium is so freaking huge and extravagant. Even if your team failed to make it too far this season, if you’ve always wanted to attend the big game this year might be the best year to do so.
Tickets have been long sold out along with many of the local accommodations, but there’s always plenty of travel packages where you can still score swanky lodging and seats at the 50-yard line. Jetsetter’s football package definitely caught our eye, and it will probably catch yours as well as long as you a wallet deep enough to pay for it.

The NHL's Outdoor Hockey Game Happens This Weekend in Pittsburgh

The NHL is bringing together two of its best teams—the Penguins and Capitals—in this year’s outdoor game during the 2011 Winter Classic.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are borrowing Heinz Field from the NFL’s Steelers for the weekend, as the football stadium is being transformed into a hockey rink as you read this. The only issue with this year’s game is that it might be a little too warm—and rainy—so there is a chance that things might get postponed until January 2. So just keep an eye on the weather if you plan on making the road trip to the left side of Pennsylvania.

Glendale: Take A Tour of the Arizona Cardinals' Desert Football Oasis

After being sent home early by the New Orleans Saints, fans of the Arizona Cardinals are wondering if they’ll see Kurt Warner again next season. Despite all the uncertainty surrounding the team’s chances for a win in 2011, there’s one thing that isn’t going anywhere—the University of Phoenix Stadium and it’s one of the best in the league.
If you’re depressed about your team heading to the golf course a little earlier than you expected, make your way to this fortress of football to take a tour of the stadium. The Colts haven’t lost one game this season, and thanks to solid play throughout the decade, they were rewarded with their own brand new stadium.
Lucas Oil Stadium sits just outside of downtown Indianapolis and swung its gates open for the first time in 2008—it might even still have that new stadium smell. The architects went with a retro design to the outside of the facility, taking inspiration from traditional stadiums. However, there’s nothing old about the inside of the place, especially when they decide to crack open the huge retraceable roof. They’ve also got a huge wall of windows that can be opened when the weather outside isn’t frightful, and it even allows for a pretty decent shot of the downtown skyline.
