<title>The Newest Foursquare City Badges: Baltimore, Richmond, Des Moines, Oklahoma City and Stamford</title>

<description><![CDATA[<P><img src="http://www.jaunted.com/files/6193/2010_06_17_JA___Foursquare.jpg" class="top"> <P>So, while <b>Foursquare</b> was churning out all those shiny new <a href="">international city badges</a>, they were also thinking about good ol' America, and the fact that there are plenty of towns with awesome venues that would benefit from the exposure and tourism that comes with a special badge. A <a href="http://blog.foursquare.com/2012/01/24/tell-us-why-your-hometown-deserves-a-foursquare-badge-visitus/">contest</a> pitted individual Foursquare user-created lists against each other, and the winners were named today. <P>These winners, and therefore the next cities to have their own Foursquare badges, are: <b>Baltimore, MD; Richmond, VA; Des Moines, IA; Oklahoma City, OK; and Stamford, CT</b>. <P>Some pretty random choices in there, but they must pack a punch considering other cities in the running were Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Portland and Nashville. The geek in us got excited and we immediately began wondering if our next trip's destination also has its own badge. Well, if it doesn't now then it will soon, as Foursquare continues to expand the variety. With dramatic unveilings on <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/twitter">Twitter</a></b> and <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/instagram">instagram</a></b> and the final product look on Facebook, the carrier created quite a buzz for their newest seats. <p>In the front of the plane, the Belgian carrier is launching <b>lie-flat sky beds</b> for intercontinental service with all of the bells and whistles we expect in business class. Super roomy seats with loads of work space is what premium passengers can expect with the addition of a pneumatic setting that allows passengers to pick a 'hard' or 'soft' seat. <P>Don't worry, there is some fun for economy too!
