Ft. Lauderdale: This Free Tattoo Shuttle Will Take You to Your Next Bad Decision

Everyone seemed to be having a good time and there was nary a wet t-shirt contest in sight.
Then we spotted this--a free tattoo shuttle to the Tattoo Blues shop. Ok, this might seem like nirvana when you've been downing tequila shots all day and you've been struck with the inspiration to get Justin Bieber tattooed on your derriere but will you think the free shuttle was such a good idea the next morning? Probably not.
All we have to say is ride with care. After all, friends don't let friends ride the free tattoo shuttle unless they've been thinking about getting that tattoo for at least a month.

Truthfully, it was more the former than the latter.
Nevertheless, we signed up for this gig and at $62 per person, ticket and limo ride included, we thought Medieval Times could be fun.
New York: Spotted: New York Subway Cars Given a Dutch Makeover

We don't think we've ever been on the S Train simply because the 7 Train does the same route, but when we spotted this one idling at Times Square, we noted that it was packed with people who were about to fall prey to the subliminal messaging of the ads.
Maui: Pack an Extra Duffle: United Airlines Charges $125 for Overweight Bags

We've already expressed our repulsion at the baggage fees that airlines keep piling on passengers these days but we were appalled at this fee that we saw United Airlines leveraging on passengers at the Kahului Airport (OGG) in Maui, Hawaii yesterday.
The sign says,

$125 charge for checked bags over 50lbs.

Usually, we understand that overweight bags should be dinged for their heftiness but $125? That is just thievery. And according to United's website, oversized baggage costs $175. Ugh.
Photographic Evidence that In-flight WiFi is 2 Legit 2 Quit

We already knew that MC Hammer was digging on the in-flight WiFi provided by Virgin America on his flight last month. But now, VA has put up a TwitPic on their own Twitter feed giving us photographic evidence of Hammer doing his thang in-flight today, in first-class of course. Hmmm...no Mac, Hammer? What's up with that?

Meanwhile, Southwest has put up their own update on in-flight WiFi saying that WiFi is testing great (obvs) and that provider Row 44 is in the final stage of securing permanent licenses for the service.

Southwest has operated the service on more than 500 flights and more than 9,000 Customers have logged on. Folks are utilizing Wi-Fi for anything from e-mail to surfing the net to Facebook and the feedback so far has been great. Comments we are hearing from Customers are that the service is fast and they’re pleased with the quality of streaming media.

WiFi service will be available on Southwest through the spring.
