Gather your gals (and Anthony Marentino-types!) and get fabulous because the big day is finally here. Sex and the City opens today and we can hardly wait to run to the theater in our Manolos and outrageously patterned prints! All of the ladies--Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha--make it back to the big screen.
The movie picks up about three years after the series ended, with Carrie as Big's fiancee, Miranda as a Brooklyn mom and Charlotte as a happy adoptive parent. Samantha meanwhile has decamped to Malibu with the ever-stunning Smith. Of course there are cosmo-laden reunions, a big wedding day to plan, fights, changes and all the inner dialogue a gal could ask for.

Where to Check in: Hotel Giraffe This hotel may look unassuming, but the building's Piano Suite area was actually transformed into Big's apartment for sections of the movie. With interiors inspired by the 1920s and 30s, rooms feature 10-foot ceilings, original photographs and Egyptian cotton sheets and towels.
