Making it to Australia before the Qantas shutdown occupied the news, Queen Elizabeth II brought her sensible pastel fashion to the 'Down Under' during her, most likely, final tour of Australia. Her Royal Majesty arrived in Canberra with her beau, Prince Phillip, on October 19th and has had a whirlwind tour since, visiting Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.

Her chartered British Airways 777 touched down in the Australian capital and after a few minutes of Royal palm waving, Elizabeth Regina II (her birth name), met with Julia Gillard, Australia's first female prime minister. Talk about girl power!

After, no doubt, numerous courtesies and royal galas, QEII flew on to Brisbane to tour the River City. While in "Bris-Vegas," she had a ride on a CityCat, which is public transportation via catamaran. We aren't going to lie—that's pretty awesome. Is there a better reason to cut your summer vacation short than a party with royals? Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted arriving at LAX yesterday with daughters Sunday and Faith in tow. Nicole kept an eye on baby Faith while two security guards watched over the whole family.

Nicole and Keith were in Australia visiting family but cut their trip short to head back to L.A. where Nicole will attend the the BAFTA Party with Will and Kate on Saturday night. It's a Tale of Two Dresses this summer, as Lady Gaga and Kate Middleton enjoy one big similarity—that their respective most famous dresses will go on public display at museums.

As part of the Women Who Rock exhibition at Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Gaga's famous "Meat Dress" has been permanently installed from today. This is the curious garment she donned to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and which spawned a million Halloween costumes. Because it was real, fresh meat on Gaga's bones, the museum has had to preserve it (with the help of a taxidermist) and paint it to appear fresh. Take a look at the finished exhibit dress here and judge for yourself if they did a good job of that.

On the other side of the pond, Kate Middleton's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress will again see the light sooner than we had expected. From July 23 through October 3, the gown will have pride of place inside Buckingham Palace during the royal residence's annual summer opening. Unlike Gaga's ensemble, however, Middleton's frock will be joined by her McQueen shoes and diamond earrings.
