But, at first that was not Karl's experience at all. He checked into a first class private room on the train and was actually—for maybe the first time on the series—happy. Building professionals are a bonus, but even if you've never picked up a hammer they can still use your help!
Currently Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is looking for volunteers in Daybreak, UT, Georgia, and North Carolina. To sign up as a volunteer on the show, fill out the online application at JoinExtreme.com. We're going to go ahead and assume that the place is booked up for New Year's already, but now would be the time to begin scooping up summer 2012 dates.
Alas, the cast of the Jersey Shore will not return to film a fifth season at the house, as two spin-off shows are already in the works. The first will follow the further adventures of Snooki and J-Woww as they become roommates, while the second trails DJ Pauly D around the world, making various music and celebrity appearances.
