Berlin: Our Guide To Living Like 'Inglorious Basterds' in Berlin

For his new movie Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Taratino wanted to make a a spaghetti western that would use World War II iconography and star the world's biggest movie star. And this is how one of the biggest movie debuts of the summer was born.
The movie has all of Tarantino's usual trademarks: quick dialogue, cringe-inducing violence and creative casting, but it was filmed on location somewhere new for the Tarantino crew: one of Jaunted's favorite cities, Berlin. To slake your thirst to live it up just like Brad Pitt no doubt did while he was filming, here's our guide to partying like a rock star, or at least partying like a director who thinks he's a rock star, in Berlin:

Cannes: How to Do The Cannes Film Festival in Style

Most stars dream of representing their latest film at the Cannes Film Festival and most film fans dream of watching them walk down the red carpet.
Park City: Sundance A Little Less Starstruck This Year

What? You weren't at Sundance this weekend? It's okay, you weren't alone; apparently many stars stayed away out of deference to the WGA strike or fear of the paparazzi gauntlet they would face. Variety reported that A-list attendance was much lower than in recent years, despite a bumper crop of high-profile movies like the "U2" concert film "U23D" and Robert DeNiro's "What Just Happened?"
Not that Sundance was completely out of star cameos. Colin Farrell flirted with publicity reps while promoting his crime caper "In Bruges," and Mary-Kate Olson fielded 45,000 questions about what it was like to make out with Ben Kingsley for their movie "The Wackness," in which he plays a pot-smoking psychologist. But there was no playtime for Diego Luna and Sandra Oh; they were too busy voting on the Sundance jury along with Quentin Tarantino and Marcia Gay Harden. Someone's got to pick out the next "Little Miss Sunshine!"
Related Stories:
· Sundance Swag Gets Cold Shoulder [Variety]
· Jaunted at Sundance coverage [Jaunted]
· Sundance Film Festival coverage [Jaunted]

Liverpool: Tarantino Does Liverpool For The Pints

Along with opening his movie and taking interviews, Tarantino expressed his love for local beer Cains, which Samuel L. They all love crazy Japanese rockabilly! Know that annoying song for "hoo-hoo" song that's appeared in a few ads in the U.S.--for Vonage, we think--as well as in Kill Bill Vol. 1? Well, it was first shown in an ad in Japan, announcing ANA's move to a new terminal in Tokyo's Narita airport. The move, if we are to believe advertising, and we always do, was sparked by a mad chase for a wiener dog. See how everything fits together--and we even refrained from making a joke about what animal Northwest would chase when they move terminals.
