Thus we have no qualms about revealing Christian as the winner.
Personally, we're very happy about this decision. Yes, Christian is like an annoying little sister. Yes, Christian has some ridiculous obsession with flat-ironing his hair. And yes, Christian says "fierce" way too much.
But the fact is, Christian is also really talented. His designs can be over the top but he's very creative... enormo puffysleeves and skinny pants be damned.
Our semi-stream of consciouness review of the finale, after the jump.

The two men, who were so lovey-dovey on the reunion show last week, each had to create a special collection in order to prove their Project Runway worth.
The episode starts with the designers having a farewell toast from Heidi and Tim atop the Gotham apartments, their dwellings during the show. (Plug alert: Moet & Chandon sponsors the champagne swilling.) Then each of them go off to their homes to work on their collection: For Christian, it's NYC. For Jillian, it's NYC. The designers followed Tim Gunn to the Metropolitan Musuem of Art where they were asked to choose an inspirational piece from one of the three wings--the Greek and Roman Sculpture courtyard, the European Painting wing or the Temple of Dendur--and whip up something faboo.
In short, Sweet Pea got kicked out for her poor interpretation of a painting of peacocks by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. But Christian, appropriately dubbed "Princess Puffysleeves" by Project Rungay won the challenge with his take on a Spanish painting that Roberto Cavalli just looooved.
Even more surprisingly, both Chris and Rami advanced to the final but there's a twist. The two must show a collection before getting to compete in the final. The one with the best design gets to move forward.
And during New York Fashion Week their collections debuted, so you can check those out here.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves. The designers are to create an avant garde look based on the models hair. Interesting twist. Especially considering Victorya's model has a Sanjaya-inspired do.
Another twist, the designers are put in teams because as Tim says avant garde is "ambitious" and not one person can do it. But there's one yet one more surprise. The designers are asked to create a a ready-to-wear outfit that embodies the concept of their high-fashion design. In fact, we saw a magazine in a bookstore the other day solely devoted to the latest teen prom trends. Even if prom is about five months away.
So Wednesday's episode of Project Runway about designing prom dresses for Catholic school girls from New Jersey is not really that out of sync. But maybe the Jersey part is. Why couldn't they pick some Upper East Side Gossip Girls to dress?
Whatever the reason, the designers bring in their "clients" to the showroom to talk about what kind of designs they want. Immediately, Christian cannot stand his client, who has her own ideas about what to wear to prom. This is pretty much the big drama of the episode--and who really should have won.
