San Francisco: Podcast Tour of San Francisco, Sans Segway

Ready for a tour of San Francisco a little less dorky than the one pictured above? We are too. (Though admittedly we can be a little geeky ourselves.) That's why we're so smitten with the idea behind Stroll San Francisco.
Started by a radio advertising exec with plenty of acting experience, Stroll San Fran has created entertaining podcasts about 33 different parts of Ess Eff. A mix of history, storytelling, sound effects and ever-so-slightly-risque humor, the audio will have you chuckling your way through town while listening discretely on your iPod, so you will fit right in with all those SOMA commuting Web 2.0 hipsters.
The walks aren't free, but they'll only cost you a few bucks to download. They start at $5 and you can get "The Whole San Francisco Shebang" for $15--a price well worth keeping your decency by not riding a Segway.
Oh, and if you must ride a Segway while touring The City, wear a helmet. SF may be the home of hippie love, but we bet they will chuck rocks at Segway tourists all the same.
Related Stories:
· San Francisco Travel [Jaunted]
· Hotels in San Francisco [HotelChatter]
