We're not gonna say what we think of the baby name Bronx Mowgli Wentz, the first son of Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and, uh, "singer" Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, but you have to admit it's a bit more geographically minded than, say, Apple Blythe or Suri.

The Bronx, of course, comes from New York's northernmost borough, which is trying--though not that hard--to lure some of the city's more than 40 million annual tourists. We're surprised Pete didn't go for Manhattan, though, given that his bar-slash-club Angels & Kings is in the East Village.

As for that middle name, it's Mowgli--not mogwai. It comes from Rudyard Kipling's story "In the Rukh," and the same character later starred in The Jungle Book. A boy raised by wolves in the jungle, Mowgli is later befriended by a forest ranger during the British rule of India, a period Kipling knew intimately: He was born in Bombay when it was still called that. The city, now Mumbai, is home to a museum about his life and works.

Finally! Someone looks as sloppy boarding a flight as we do! Pete Wentz and his pregnant wife Ashlee Simpson boarded a private jet in Lake Tahoe on Monday wearing about nine layers combined.

No micropurse for the mom-to-be: She's got enough stuff to be entertained no matter where they're headed.

Ashlee's singer sister Jessica Simpson trailed behind wearing Daisy Dukes and high heels, with a bodyguard carrying her Louis Vuitton as she cradled her Maltese. And she's supposed to be the country one?

Danger to those who would wear dark eyeliner and ironic sneakers! In middle America, "emo" is what you declare yourself to be because your parents can never understand the pain in your soul. In Mexico, it's license for a culo-kickin'.

And while the idea of emo teens getting chased by angry mobs of punk rockers is funny in theory, it's a terrifying spectacle when hundreds of kids riot in Mexico City and the central state of Queretaro.

It's not clear what's motivating attacks, the comments of newscasters (see above), a possible connection to Latino homophobia or an an economic downturn. But this footage is seriously scary!

Look, tight black jeans and asymmetrical hairstyles may not be our idea of a good time, but this is some kind of morbid overreaction--not to mention ill-timed for thousands of Americans headed over the border for Spring Break fun. Can we get Pete Wentz over to the UN?

Celebs: Will they ever learn to do their shopping on the Internet? After showing up at the MTV VMAs (where his group Fall Out Boy picked up an award), bassist Pete Wentz stayed out West to do promotion work for his fashion line, Clandestine Industries. Along the way, he made a pit stop at the Hustler Hollywood sex shop to purchase a naughty-schoolgirl outfit, potentially for girlfriend Ashlee Simpson. (It's okay, Pete, you would look cute in it too.)

We don't mean to shame anybody, so Jaunted recommends that if you choose to buy your "grown-up toys," you do so at a local specialty store instead of a big ugly chain. Try San Francisco's Good Vibrations or or New York City's Toys in Babeland. Or, just check out other people's amorous gadgetry at the Museum of Sex in New York City.
