For the "ladies who lunch," the first stop on a trip to Chicago is a meal at RL Restaurant, the bistro from American fashion designer Ralph Lauren. As it abuts his eponymous store, the Restaurant is a destination in itself, where diners may immerse themselves in the latest designs over a mimosa and salad. Since this concept has fared so well, Ralph is bringing it overseas to Paris as Ralph's, upscale dining which will be attached to his new flagship store on the Boulevard Saint Germain.

Not only will it be the first such fashion cafe from Ralph in Europe, but it will be a sight to see. When you think of super world traveling celebrities, usually people like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie come to mind, or Rihanna with all the concert-to-concert jetsetting she's been doing. For this reason, our favorite super world traveler is burlesque star Dita Von Teese.

To the delight of travel dorks and her fans around the world, Dita is a regular on Twitter, sharing everything from her favorite restaurants to layover and jetlag tips. She might even travel more than most celebrities, seeing as how her various endorsements and performances bring her to places are varying as Miami, Sao Paulo, Kazakhstan, Beijing and Moscow over only a few months. Eating at this historical landmark just around the corner from the Place de l’Odeon in Paris’s St. Germain des Pres district is like taking a step back in time to the early 1900’s, with the service and menu to match.

The Bouillon Racine has been around since 1906, housed in a gorgeous Belle Epoque building with delicate iron latticework, Art Nouveau lighting fixtures, intricate woodwork, beveled mirrors, glass “paintings,” and an absinthe-green bar.

There used to be such “bouillons” all over Paris, but now only a few remain, including Racine.
