Orlando: Disney World's Lawless Lines

When a Disney World restaurant announced it would ban kids under a certain age, some rebelled against the idea that there could be adult zones of a child-oriented place. But given this week's tale of "line rage," maybe it's best to keep your children at home: Alabama resident Victoria Walker faces up to 15 years in prison for allegedly kicking and beating a woman in line for the Mad Tea Party ride in the Magic Kingdom.

Walker and victim Aimee Krause were both waiting in line for the Mad Tea Party ride last year when, according to Walker, Krause tried to cut the line. Krause is considering filing suit against Disney security, who she says delayed calling in the local police to take witness statements at the scene. Thank goodness they weren't armed.

Orlando: Most Missed in Orlando

What is it like to live in the happiest place on Earth? Surely those who take up residence in Orlando year-round don't find it to be like an endless vacation at Walt Disney World, but they have their fun away from the large-headed mice and souvenir stores. Party like a local, at least meet one, at these places:

Congo River Golf -- Putt-putt may not be the sexiest game in town, but you could sink a red-headed hottie while you play. 6312 International Drive

Parliament House -- There are six bars in this lakeside complex and gay resort, but don't bring your boyfriend. 410 N. Orange Blossom Trail

Independent Bar -- Concerts by the dance floor, tables on the patio... It may have its share of faux-hipsters, but I-bar is the downtown scene. 68 N. Orange Ave.

Orlando to Montreal: $206 on Scare Canada

If WestJet is to be believed, booking this fare on Air Canada could be a risky move. Whether or not it's home of the Air Witch, we'll give props to Air Canada for this totally decent rate between Montreal and Orlando. Flying the same dates (we tested Dec. 17-19) on WestJet would be quite a bit more expensive, but WestJet also has affordable weekend flights on the route, whereas Air Canada does not.

To get this fare, head over to Air Canada's website and make sure you deselect all the "extras" they offer at the end. By "extras" we mean things you'd consider standard (advance seat selection, checked backage), and though we wish Air Canada could go truly cheap while still offering you some comfort, going bare-bones for a quick weekend trip shouldn't be too hard. It's not a bad deal if you want to soak up some pre-Christmas magic in Montreal before heading home for better weather, or if you want to take someone to Disneyworld as a holiday gift.
