The Ogunquit Playhouse is now open for the season. Of course the playhouse opening, which features a production of Beehive just so happens to correspond with the nicest stretch of weather of the Maine beach season. Visitors could have used the playhouse option a couple weeks back when rain was pouring down and Freeport shopping was the only option.
Though the Ongunquit Playhouse gets all the pub, there are other fine arts options in the area. Ah, who are we kidding, while the sun is out you should be out bouldering Ogunquit's coast, or downing steamed clams at Barnacle Billy's.
