Macau’s nightlife is ever expanding and changing. What started off as post-gambling hot spots in most of the hotels, nightlife has now spread out of the resorts and into local areas like the Outer Harbour.

But before we head away from the casinos, there’s actually a pretty cool bar/lounge inside the MGM. The Lion's Bar, tucked at the back side of the main casino, is where music lovers can go to listen to a featured band. When I was in Macau, the eclectic cover band called Lockdown rocked a packed house. If they’re in town when you are—make sure to see them.

If it were up to Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, the economy would bounce back this week in order for the world to embrace his love affair with animal prints, gold, and opulent environments through the opening of his new club in Dubai.

Alas, we awoke this morning to another day of the recession despite his attempts to re-invigorate the economy with pricey alcohol and a return to partying for partying's sake. Following the success of his first Florence club, Cavalli opened his second shindig space attached to The Fairmont Hotel at a cost of $30 million. Here's what you'll find behind its gilded gates:

Karaoke arrived in the United States in the early 1990's, and while the craze was short-lived in suburban areas, it gained a foothold in cities like New York, where the booze-soaked Japanese pastime was perfectly suited to our tight quarters and stressed out lifestyles. Now nearly two decades old, New York's karaoke culture has flourished and mutated into various forms, from Punk Metal Karaoke at Arlene's Grocery to Movieoke at Two Boots Den of Cin, but it's often at its best when stripped to its soul-baring essence.

Hollywood: Five Hot Hollywood Clubs Right Now

A "hot club" in Hollywood is loosely defined as "new enough that it's yet not cool to describe as 'so five minutes ago.'" These are places where the starlets are stumbling from the bathroom stalls to their cars, the guys are popping their collars and lying about being producers, and the well drinks are clocking in at upwards of $20. So basically like everywhere else in Hollywood. Except much harder to get into.

If you're thinking to yourself "but I can't get past the rope line and even if I could the drinks are too expensive" - you're probably right. But you, our beloved readers, seem to love posts we do on The Hills. So you have no one to blame but yourselves.

Can't swing a trip to Paris for the Spring? Jaunted Embed Shira Lazar gives us a tour of her home town of Montreal, a much cheaper but just as authentic French experience.

We stopped by L’Orignal, a “chalet chic” resto on industry night Monday, where they offered $4 vodka and had an oyster chucker right at the bar.

The owners of L’Orignal also have another hot resto/lounge in the area called Garde Manger. It’s a the hip dining destination, where you can order seafood platters and bbq ribs while wining and listening to funky tunes. We’re told the waiting staff are hot too. BTW- that seems to be actually a Montreal norm.

Unless you’ve downed a few of the super-octane coffee drinks at Milas around 4 or 5 pm, we highly suggest catching a nap before attempting to take on the nightlife in Cartagena: it starts late (most clubs don’t even open until 11:00p or midnight) and ends when you might otherwise be getting up to start your day.

Aghios Kosmas: Pure Greek Nightclub Decadence at Akrotiri

One of the hottest nightclubs in Athens isn't so much "in" Athens as it is a 20 Euro cab ride from the center of the city.

Akrotiri - opened in 2008 in nearby Aghios Kosmas - is where the young, beautiful, and occasionally famous of Greece's glitterati come out to see and be seen. The parking lot is filled with polished BMWs and the rope line is overflowing with tall, busty blondes.

It's not the least expensive place to dance away the night. But if you're looking for an evening of out-and-out degeneracy you'd be hard-pressed to do better.
