New Moon has such a hold on the world right now that even Martha Stewart admitted to having dreams about Robert Pattinson. The movie's cast hasn't been helping matters either with a media blitz that has taken them around the world, but let's not forget where it all started, in Vancouver.

The Hamptons have always been a hot spot for celeb activity, but this week it's the North Fork region of Long Island that has the big names. Yesterday, Tom Cruise was spotted jogging on Route 25 through Orient and East Marion with his bodyguard, who rode along side him on a bicycle. Tom seemed to be enjoying his run and waved to fans as they drove by. He was probably happy to have a few days off.
Tom's been busy working on the movie Knight and Day with Cameron Diaz in Boston. The production was scheduled to move to Salzburg, Austria today but Austrian filmmakers protested a tax incentive offered to Cruise and company by Salzburg authorities. In response to the backlash, the shoot has been cut down to just 7 days rather than the three weeks they had originally scheduled. Tom and Cameron will also be shooting in Spain and Hawaii over the next few week.
So, what would bring Tom Cruise to eastern Long Island in the middle of November? Most likely, his third anniversary with wife Katie Holmes. Mrs. Cruise is currently filming The Romantics in Southold, NY with co-stars Adam Brody, Elijah Wood, Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel and Malin Akerman. The cast seems to be making themselves at home while filming in Long Island. Adam Brody and Katie Holmes have been frequenting the Starbucks in Greenport while Elijah Wood was recently seen at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck. ]]>
Today, "Pirate Radio", or "The Boat That Rocked" as it is known in the U.K., opens nationwide. The movie is based on the true story of a few rogue rock-and-roll deejays who broadcast from ships anchored just outside U.K. during a 1966 ban of rock music by the BBC. That same spirit is still alive in the U.K. today and here's how you can capture it.

Keeping with the anti-establishment theme of the film, The Pavilion Hotel in London certainly doesn't play by the rules. Every room in the hotel has an over-the-top theme and is decorated in loud colors and mismatched patterns. The bathrooms are small, the building is old, there is no elevator, this is not the Ritz, but what it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in character. The price is right too, rates start around £60 a night. ]]>
It's every casting director's dream, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie starring in a film about a man drawn into a web of danger by a female interpol agent as she tries to track down an ex-lover. If the rumors are true, the dream may become a reality soon.
Various reports claim that Johnny Depp is in talks to star in “The Tourist” along with Jolie, but don't get your hopes up too soon. The film has already gone through several casting shakeups. Originally, Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron were set to star but scheduling conflicts got in the way. If the current casting rumors pan out, this will be the second time in a year that Jolie has stepped into a film originally meant for Cruise. Tom had been eyeing "The Tourist" and the upcoming movie "Salt," but dropped out of both for "Knight and Day," which is currently shooting in Boston.
"The Tourist" will most likely be shot in Europe, which is alright with Angie. Apparently, the mother of six is tired of the constant media attention in the States and plans to work mostly in Europe for the next few years. Filming for "The Tourist" is set to start early next year.

"The Men Who Stare at Goats," starring George Clooney's mustache, Ewan McGregor, and Kevin Spacey hits theaters today. The movie, about a reporter who tags along on a bizarre military mission, was filmed last year in New Mexico and Puerto Rico. The cast spent the bulk of the shoot at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell.

The title "Sex and the City" may become too limiting for the world's most fashionable set-jetting foursome. It seems "Sex and the City 2" has our favorite New Yorkers treading some very unfamiliar territory this week as Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon began shooting in Morocco. The women were spotted filming in the famous marketplaces of Marrakech, looking even more fabulous than the last time we saw them in New York City. Carrie was wearing a "J'Adore Dior" Tee and full lavender skirt while Miranda had on a flowy white dress with matching jacket.
Though Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall haven't been spotted in Africa yet, rumor has it they will be joining SJP and Cynthia Nixon on the Moroccan set soon. All four ladies are also scheduled to film scenes in London before filming wraps next month. ]]>
Savannah locals have become accustomed to sharing the streets with horses and buggies over the past few weeks. But they aren't just another tourist attraction; they're actually props for The Conspirator. Robert Redford is directing the film, which is set in 1865 Washington, D.C. and re-creates the trial of Mary Surratt, the only woman among those executed for conspiring to kill President Abraham Lincoln. He's brought an all-star cast along with him too. Robin Wright Penn is playing Mary Surratt and James McAvoy plays her attorney, Frederick Aiken. Justin Long, Alexis Bledel, Tom Wilkinson, Kevin Kline and Evan Rachel Wood have all joined the cast as well.
Savannah's historical look lends itself well to the period piece, though they've still had to make some small changes along the way. For instance, while filming last week, the cobblestone streets in Savannah's historical district were covered with dirt and period flags and signage were brought in for accuracy. The city's famous squares have come in handy too. The Campion-Fowlkes House on Oleans Square has already been used in a party scene and nearby Chatham Square was used for exteriors. Today, Redford continues filming in Savannah's historic district, along West Bay Street. ]]>
