Miley Cyrus has arrived in Georgia for her next movie, The Last Song, and already locals are in a tizzy over the teen. Although The Last Song doesn’t officially start production in Savannah and nearby Tybee Island until next week, the film's stars are already in town prepping for their roles and enjoying a little R&R.

Miley’s definitely having a good time so far, tweeting earlier in the week, “in love with Savannah.” Tuesday, she was spotted by several locals on a jet ski with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, who reportedly flew in to work a “duet” with the tween idol, a likely story from a guy who promised his mom he’d stay a virgin and a girl who just broke up her boyfriend. Miley Cyrus may be having the best week ever. Not only did “Hannah Montana” earn $34 million over the weekend but she also recently signed onto her next Disney film, “The Last Song”, written by Nicholas Sparks specifically for her.

After contending with North Carolina for "The Last Song", Savannah, Georgia has announced it will be the location for the movie which begins filming this summer. This week's refreshing reminder that the recession doesn't affect everyone: One lucky Houston law firm is spoiling its workers instead of canceling its annual Christmas party, making the whole family happy with a performance by Miley Cyrus.

It must've been a good year for Lanier Law Firm, best known for winning damages from the creators of the painkiller Vioxx. The party, "Christmas Cheers and Charity," is a benefit for a Guatemalan nonprofit working to provide free health care and education. No buying tickets for this show, though: You have to be invited by host Mark Lanier, at least till the coveted cards start showing up on eBay.

This must be the way pop stars handle the downturn--do relatively intimate shows (an estimated 8,000 will come to the Lanier bash, versus an 80,000-seat arena show) and snag big paychecks for them. At least she can practice in the new recording studio Cyrus got for her 16th birthday on Sunday. It's good to be Miley.

Here's what happened: A London-born entrepreneur named Sheeraz Hasan moved to LA and lived out the modern American dream, getting rich off of celeb-stalking projects like Tinseltown TV and Hollywood.tv. But it turns out that all Hasan ever really wanted to do was make milkshakes.

What's your wardrobe budget like? Disney kept woman Miley Cyrus checks out the looks at the Christian Audigier American Lord show at Los Angeles Fashion Week on Wednesday night.

Cyrus was there to cheer on model boyfriend Justin Gaston, but there were plenty of other fashionistas to scope out the clothes: Heidi Klum scored a front-row seat and later asked the designer to appear as a guest judge on "Project Runway," should the next season ever be released from its legal bounds.

Next season, they might have to get on a plane: Event organizer IMG and photo studios Smashbox recently announced this was their last year organizing LA Fashion Week, which even in its best years is a small affair compared to New York's eight-day fashion orgy. Some designers have already sought out alternate venues for their shows before, so fashion will live--just maybe in several different venues.
