Left to its own devices, the American celebrity (celebritus Americanus) finds its own kind and moves among them in a herd of Blackberrying fingers and venti skinny lattes. Here, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Gwyneth Paltrow stick to their own kind at London Heathrow.

Last week we knocked Mary-Kate's oversized and understyled luggage, but she was probably hauling around her ideas for the clothing line she shares with her twin, Elizabeth and James.

It didn't make it into London fashion week this year, but maybe next season!

Of course there's no rule that everything you take to Fashion Week has to be in style. But Mary-Kate's luggage just looks tired and unflattering at Milan International Airport.

A full matching set may be a little outdated, but how about a clean bag in an eye-catching color? Or if you go with basic black, grab a nylon belt to wrap around the bag instead of relying on some scraggly ribbons. Carrying on your fur is optional.

Not every trip can be a lengthy tour through Europe. So we can't knock Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel for hitting up the wedding of stylist Estee Stanley at the Oviatt Hotel in Los Angeles.

They were in good company, with Eva Mendes, Jason Bateman, Tobey Maguire and Kurt Russell also in attendance.

While JT and Jessica certainly looked dapper, it was Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen whose outfits got the most attention. The twins wore terrifying white masks straight out of "Eyes Wide Shut." What? You weren't at Sundance this weekend? It's okay, you weren't alone; apparently many stars stayed away out of deference to the WGA strike or fear of the paparazzi gauntlet they would face. Variety reported that A-list attendance was much lower than in recent years, despite a bumper crop of high-profile movies like the "U2" concert film "U23D" and Robert DeNiro's "What Just Happened?"

Not that Sundance was completely out of star cameos. Colin Farrell flirted with publicity reps while promoting his crime caper "In Bruges," and Mary-Kate Olson fielded 45,000 questions about what it was like to make out with Ben Kingsley for their movie "The Wackness," in which he plays a pot-smoking psychologist. But there was no playtime for Diego Luna and Sandra Oh; they were too busy voting on the Sundance jury along with Quentin Tarantino and Marcia Gay Harden. Someone's got to pick out the next "Little Miss Sunshine!"
