Myrtle Beach: Roller Coaster Travel: Hard Rock Park Will Rock You

For smooth-jazz lovers, it's a "Highway to Hell": South Carolina's Hard Rock Park promises all the thrills of your local theme park with a much better soundtrack.

While the tourist attraction doesn't have its official grand opening till June 2, a "sound check" is letting ride aficionados get their first look at Hard Rock's first theme park.

The coasters in this $400 million park are designed to be extra quiet so riders will be able to hear the corresponding songs--even over all the screaming.

Besides the "Life In The Fast Lane" and "Nights In White Satin" rides, the park boasts a memorial to dead musicians, a Mount Rockmore and a "Bohemian Rhapsody"-themed fireworks show. Alas, there will be no "Love Roller Coaster."

Adventures of Link: Not That Zeppelin at Bonnaroo

Four-day arts, music and hippie fest Bonnaroo made a major announcement today, and to the disappointment of many, the band of note on the line-up was Lez Zeppelin not Led Zeppelin. But that shouldn't get you down. If you aren't interested in the all-girl tribute band, surely performances from Kanye West, Pearl Jam, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie and dozens more artists should suffice.

The camping concert series starts June 12 in Manchester, Tennessee. You'd be wise to start making your plans now, cause you're not gonna be the only one going. Tickets are a good way to start; they go on sale February 16 at noon Eastern.

Following the Led Zeppelin Trail to Wales

Some fans might have enjoyed the Led Zeppelin reunion gig on Monday, or might be planning a ride on the Led Zeppelin Roller Coaster at the Hard Rock Park. But apparently too many Led Zeppelin fans have been visiting a small Welsh cottage where Robert Plant and Jimmy Page wrote the band's third album.

The poor vicar who owns the Bron-yr-Aur cottage, immortalized as the title of a short song on the album, is unhappy about fans who break in to the cottage, remove the house's signs and steal bits of cement.

So if you're planning a bit of nostalgic travel through the Welsh Dyfi Valley, please be kind to this poor old vicar and take only photographs. Don't blast your Led Zep music too loud there either, because Reverend John doesn't seem the heavy rock type, and he could be powerful enough to block your stairway to heaven.
