Part of the fun of South By Southwest is that you never know what's coming next. The annual Austin, TX film/music/interactive conference is known for its secret concerts and events, and since this year is the 25th Anniversary of SXSW, attendees have pretty high expectations.
So far, this year's big rumor is that Kanye West will likely make a special appearance at SXSW on March 19th, and we've got no reason to doubt it, especially when there's to back it up: ]]>
You know who's having a really great day today? Zappos, that's who. The online shoe-selling company, along with Amtrak, has had their ads greeting air travelers from the bottom of airport security bins for over a year now, and a simple boasting tweet from Kanye West may be the highlight of the whole ad campaign.
Kanye, who's apparently flying somewhere this morning, was going through airport security when he was instructed to remove things on his person that would set off the metal detectors. Of course he naturally unloaded the contents of an entire Alaskan gold mine into the bin, and then just had to brag by tweeting a photo.
Let's see, he definitely wears more bracelets on a daily basis than we even own...but where's the blingy watch? You've disappointed us and the TSA, Kanye.

We’ve mentioned before what a diamond Kanye West is on Twitter and although he may not have talked about “BabyMamaJets” in a while (having abandoned them for more newsworthy discussion about phoenixes and album covers), he’s still one of the most compelling travel tweeters around.
Just on Saturday night, for example, he started musing on the travails of flying. Nothing to do with leg room or having to pay for food you wouldn’t feed your dog in the first place, so we assume it wasn’t economy.

Around 12 noon EST yesterday, Kanye West joined Twitter. And by midnight—only twelve hours later—the man had already tweeted 37 times and gained 180,000 followers. So what's he talking about? Well, it's pretty much all about his travels thus far, with such highlights as visiting "Silicone Valley" [sic], hitting up the Lanvin store in Paris with "Jay & B" (that'd be Jay-Z and Beyonce), and working the famous restaurant Nobu into one of his songs.

Even though Kanye West hasn't been making many public appearances lately, that doesn't mean he's been keeping quiet. He has been taking to his blog, defending himself against the haters and setting the record straight.
According to the NY Post, West freaked out in LAX Monday night on his way back to NYC from the Grammys because he and his assistant were seated in business class, not first class. ]]>

After his famous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV video music awards last month, and the open liquor-swilling and outlandish behavior he exhibited in the front row and on the red carpet at the same event, it seems like Kanye is overdue for such a calming vacation. Ashrams are however designed for lengthy stays, without contact with most of the outside world and devoid of all the luxurious comforts that Kanye enjoys. ]]>
'Tis the season for skinny dipping! Yesterday, rapper Kanye West caused quite a stir on both Miami Beach and the internet as his model girlfriend Amber Rose stepped just short of nude.
For most of last night, it was believed that the mini peep-show occurred on a beach just outside of Barcelona, Spain, when actually the couple was just underneath our own American noses, turning their hotel beach into a skin show straight out of Europe.
While Kanye seemed upset with the paparazzi as usual, Amber however smiled and bared more and more skin, eventually going full topless and making search engines go crazy with terms like "amber rose bikini beach pics" and "barcelona kanye girlfriend nude." It only came out this morning that they were in fact in Miami, and had just as quickly returned to New York. This is what happens when you become famous, people; you get to take quick mid-week trips to the beach and frolic with your nude girlfriend. We need to start getting famous.
