A romantic romp under the stars in Paris is the plot of a new perfume ad starring Justin Timberlake, shooting at night around the Eiffel Tower this week. Like an aging diva, the Tower won't travel for just anyone, so the singer/actor had to come to her.

The shoot, for Givenchy's cologne "Play," feature Timberlake and an actress crossing the Champ de Mars and scaling the tower at night. Since an earlier spot for the fragrance included Timberlake on a plane, this must be his destination—which makes sense, given that the brand has called Paris home since its founding in 1952. Good morning, Baltimore! Here's something you'll want to update your status about, post on people's walls and create albums for -- the Facebook movie's coming to town! And whoever manages to appear in it will win a special prize from Mark Zuckerberg of potentially knowing that you exist.

"The Social Network" is already the most anticipated movie of 2010 for film geeks as well as people who spend too much time on their computers, thanks to the participation of "The West Wing"'s Aaron Sorkin, who signed on to write the script, and "Zodiac" and "Fight Club" director David Fincher. (I am Jack's nerdy roommate having a walk-and-talk with investors?)

Zuckerberg famously dropped out of Harvard to bring his baby to life, but shooting in Cambridge can get expensive -- that's if you even get the thumbs-up from the top brass, so it's off to Baltimore and the Johns Hopkins University. Over the weekend, Justin Timberlake was spotted arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, rolling his own Louis Vuitton bag and being escorted by an armed guard, presumably to keep away screaming teenage girls.

Last night, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was also spotted with a guard in the Paris airport, only this guard wasn't trying to protect Meyers, he was trying to protect the general public. Apparently, the "Tudor" was on a bit of a bender as he threw money on the floor and drunkenly bragged about his wealth. He reportedly told the officers, "You wanna hit me? Hit me!"

We wonder if he was upset about the new baggage fees, which seem even worse now that there is a resolution in the House of Representatives to have the TSA take control of the size of carry-on bags. If passed, instead of each airline being responsible for screening the size of each passenger's bag, the TSA will presumably screen bags as people are going through the metal detectors.

This is supposed to insure a uniform standard for the size of all carry-on luggage, but will also mean your only choices in the airport will be to go through one more bureaucratic step or be gouged by the airlines to check your luggage. Maybe its time to get to know the Amtrak schedule a bit better.

Clearly the thrill of low fares doesn't just attract us common folk: Justin Timberlake hopped aboard Southwest Airlines on Friday, and did he have an "A" pass? You bet he did!

Timberlake and a bodyguard were allowed to board the Burbank-Las Vegas flight first, although somehow the singer's buddy still got stuck in the dreaded middle seat. (No, we don't know whether Justin is a window or an aisle.) Timberlake spent the weekend in Vegas, including a stop at the Playboy Club and a private tasting of his new tequila, 901, at Wynn-owned nightclub XS.

Timberlake is rumored to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this summer with Lupe Fiasco, a trip for which there are probably no low-cost carrier flights available. But maybe this priceless publicity will buy more time for Southwest's Vegas routes, on which the carrier was, according to the Las Vegas Sun, trimming capacity to better cope with the downturn. At $231 (the price of a round-trip we just pulled off Southwest.com for this weekend), it's the ticket even a non-millionaire can afford.

Monday night, Jimmy Fallon made his debut as the new host of "Late Night." So far, things haven’t been going so good. Critics have panned his awkward opening, the L.A. This town ain't big enough for the both of them: Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake got way more than they ordered when they both found themselves at Yatai Asian Tapas Bar in West Hollywood for late dinners on Monday.

Timberlake was having dinner with his current sweetheart Jessica Biel around 10 pm when his former flame arrived--with her mom! That's gotta hurt. US Magazine's all-important anonymous witness said Justin and Jessica avoided the Spears party, who stayed about 30 minutes and then left.

Yatai, the Japanese word for street food stands serving ramen, dumplings and assorted fried meats, is to be distinguished from yattai!, an exclamation meaning "All right!" or "We did it!" popularized by this video.

They just can't stay away from each other! Justin Timberlake was making this appearance at a political event in Clark County, Nevada (home of Las Vegas) this week and he managed to get girlfriend Jessica Biel to come along with him.

This despite the fact that he was planning to spend the rest of the week on the links! It's for a good cause, though: Timberlake is hosting the Shriners Hospitals for Children PGA tour event in Vegas this week. Golfers can win and ticket proceeds go to the kids, so it's not like he's just off on a boondoggle with his buddies.

Maybe Biel didn't have anything better to do: Her latest project "Nailed," directed by the notoriously temperamental David O. Russell, has been beset by shooting delays.
