Oh my god. Well if it wasn't obvious before, it is now: airline/airport flashmobs are the new black.
Latest on the travel flashmob trend is Delta, who just barely released a 5-minute dance, incorporating flight crew and operations peeps from ATL, JFK, DTW and TOC (Technical Operations Center).
It starts off corny, but stay with it. It gets...cornier, but omg do we want to hug everyone involved. See the full video:]]>
The world loves to watch flight attendants dance. This we discovered when that Cebu Pacific video of FAs doing the safety demo to the tune of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry went viral. Who are we kidding? The world loves to watch flight attendants do anything other than typical flight attendant stuff, so when Finnair's girls got together to dance for their fellow crew at base, it would of course leak online.

The place: the Finnair Crew Lounge at what we're assuming is Helsinki Airport
Finnair has already posted it on their own YouTube, so this could be a publicity stunt, but the fact they didn't involve any passengers (or public) leads us to believe this is just what it seems; a few flight attendants got an idea, got their friends to play along and then alerted the airline to the fun, who were game to support it.

Calling London. If you plan on being near the Liverpool Train Station in the next 30 minutes you could be a part of the flashmob moonwalk being organized by Twitterer Milo Yiannopoulos in honor of Michael Jackson. According to his updates, the police have "approved" this flashmob event inside the train station on the main concourse but only the first 300 moonwalkers will be allowed to participate. (Remember, this is where the T-mobile flashmob dance commercial was also filmed.)
Afterward, revelers are going to the after-party at the Lucky Voice karaoke bar on Upper Street in Islington.
Meanwhile, folks back in the U.S. can pay their respects to the King of Pop by visiting his boyhood home in Gary, Indiana or the Motown Musuem in Detroit, where many fans are gathering today. If you're on the West Coast, you can hang out with the throngs of fans and media at the UCLA Medical Center in West Los Angeles where Jackson was taken after suffering cardiac arrest or visit his star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Or you could just go out tonight as usual and drink with your friends. But even if you aren't much of a dancer, when "Billie Jean" or "The Way You Make Me Feel" comes on through the stereo, you better pay your respects to MJ on the dance floor.
