That's why we wanted to share what we know about flying in the front of the plane, and what it takes to get there. Check out what we found:</em> <p>&#183; <b>How Much Does It Cost?</b><br> If you&#146;re a hotshot and heading to <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/city/los%20angeles"><b>Los Angeles</b></a> for an important meeting, then you have two different options on <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/american%20airlines"><b>American Airlines</b></a>. They offer both a business class and a first class seat between <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/jfk"><b>JFK</b></a> and <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/lax"><b>LAX</b></a>. We checked out some fares for the first week in June, and business seats are around $2,600, while first class seats are about $5,300. If you want to test out the Continental seats one last time before the outside of the plane has a different name on it, now is the time to do so. Head out the first week in June from <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/ewr"><b>Newark</b></a> to <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/city/frankfurt"><b>Frankfurt</b></a> and you&#146;re looking at an addition of about $4,800 to the monthly budget. During the first week of June a flight from <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/city/chicago"><b>Chicago</b></a> to <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/city/san%20diego"><b>San Diego</b></a> will cost about $1,700 in business class. United does offer a true first class option as well, and this will cost you $18,000 from Chicago to <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/city/tokyo"><b>Tokyo</b></a>. Of course we're talking about <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/singapore%20airlines">Singapore Airlines</a></b>, and we just realized that not only do they have sweet ipod hook-ups to the in-flight entertainment, but that all of their amenity kits and the <b>first and business class bedding, pajamas and dishware are all from French luxury fashion house Givenchy</b>. <p>We've spent years craving the Marc Newson-designed pajamas in <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/qantas">Qantas</a></b> first class, the Shanghai Tang togs on <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/cathay%20pacific">Cathay Pacific</a></b> and the Anya Hindmarch amenity kits in <b><a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/british%20airways">British Airways</a></b> first class, but Givenchy is miles above those. ]]>                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  </description>

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.jaunted.com/files/3873/Singapore_Airlines_First_Class_Lounge.jpg" class="top"> <p>Some airlines fascinate us with <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/story/2009/2/16/25431/5838/travel/British+Airways+Has+Bidets+In+Their+First+Class+Lounge">bidets</a> in their first class lounges, but <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/Singapore%20Airlines"><b>Singapore Airlines</b></a> has won us over with what we can only describe as style and sophistication.<p>This is their hometown lounge at <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/tag/Changi%20Airport"><b>Changi Airport</b></a> and we like it for its late-night, Lost-in-Translation vibe. This is an airport lounge where elegant strangers fetch you drinks and (we figure) anything can happen.<p>The nice part is that Singapore Airlines actually lives up to the expectations this lounge gives you: remember their fancy-looking <a href="http://www.jaunted.com/story/2009/1/23/7182/59342/travel/How+First+Class+on+Singapore+Airlines+Spent+Christmas">first class cabin</a> on board?
