Your flight has landed, you've claimed your luggage and now you're trying to get the hell out of the airport. To erase confusion and get your on your way, all week long at Jaunted we will be detailing the various ways to get to and from major airports, and what those modes cost, from cheapest to the big blowout entrance. · COTRAL/Schiaffini Buses: As the cheapest option, taking a bus obviously involves the most hassle. Purchase tickets for the bus in the sundries shop down by baggage claim, and don't forget to validate it in the the little box machines inside of the bus. Head to Terminal A's ground transportation area to find the bus stop, and make sure you board the right bus. The one to Rome's main Termini station is "Aeroporto-Termini-Tiburtina," or there are also "Aeroporto-Roma Cornelia" to connect with subway line A and "Aeroporto-Roma Magliana" to connect with line B.
Total cost: €1.60 to €3.60 per person, each way depending on your route.

Do you feel the magic of Rome? Those same heady fumes that caused Gregory Peck to fall for Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday"? Well, you may find love there, but it won't allow you to check your e-mail for free. Or pick up pretty girls via their shared iTunes network.

Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, the largest airport in Italy, offers WiFi to the masses through Boingo and the few through Megabeam. Even if you're lucky enough to be in the British Airways executive lounge or Terminal A's "Executive Center," you'll still have to pony up €3-€7 to log on. (Is that why there's no equivalent of "love letters" for the digital age?)

Saturday. 8 am Rome time. At Fiumincino, Anthony Bourdain gets his and his family's luggage. The stars are just like us. Flew Continental from Newark, my flight, saw him on it.

Clearly Bourdain should be happy that checked bags are free on transatlantic flights. Maybe he's in town to check out the awesome eats?

In the upcoming sci-fi movie "Jumper," a young man finds out he can teleport anywhere he wants. Unfortunately for Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson, the stars of the movie, real life ain't sci-fi, so they've been crossing the globe the regular way to promote the movie.

Here they're departing Fiumicino Airport in Rome, whose Colosseum provided one of the key location shots for the movie, which was also filmed in Toronto and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The word "teleportation" was coined almost 80 years ago, so where are our teleporters, already?!
