'Bachelor' Pilot Jake Pavelka to Join Buzz Aldrin on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Hottie commercial pilot Jake Pavelka, who has just completed his season as "The Bachelor" by proposing to Vienna Girardi, won't be off your television for long. It was just announced that he will be joining the cast of the 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars," to foxtrot and tango with Chelsie Hightower as his professional dance partner. It makes us wonder how long it's been since Jakey actually did his regular job: piloting flights for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. But so long as the public's fascination with foxy flight crew continues, Jake will be on one show or another.

Not for nothing, he will be a part of a crazy "Dancing With the Stars" cast, a group of characters who pretty much guarantee great ratings. We're talking gossip rag fodder like Kate Gosselin, Pamela Anderson and Nicole Scherzinger along with real personalities like Buzz Aldrin, Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and ESPN's Erin Andrews. Even one of our favorite tweeters, NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, will salsa his stuff with partner Cheryl Burke.

So should you watch the season? We can only say that we might tune in a few times to catch Aldrin and Ochocinco, but we think that Pavelka is past his 15 minutes of fame. Time to return to the skies, bucko.

Las Vegas: Spice Girl Does Vegas Peep Show

That's a headline we've been waiting to write for about 12 years, and frankly, we're kinda surprised it took so long.

The Spice Girl in question is Mel B., who'll be starring in the painfully capitalized PEEPSHOW, Planet Hollywood's latest over-the-top, very Vegas-y production, which also includes Playboy playmate and Dancing with the Stars champ Kelly Monaco, along with 20 more sexy dancers and an all-female band.

We should clarify that PEEPSHOW isn't exactly a sleazy porn thing, but more of a "highly stylized, full-throttle modern burlesque show that combines sexy striptease and celebrity with high-level production values and a dash of passion."

So, are they gonna be naked or not? We'll find out when the show starts March 30.

The new season of "Dancing with the Stars" is here, and at least one contestant has displayed the only proper response to being forced to dance on national television: Fear! The fraidy-pants belong to Paul McCartney's ex, model Heather Mills, who has confessed to being "terrified" of this week's jiving lessons, says TMZ.com. It's not her dancing ability that worries Mills so much as the state of her artificial leg, which apparently has not taken to the jump-heavy style of jive very well. Since two left feet can happen to anyone, visit one of these dance studios if you're a D-list celebrity or just want to learn to dance like one.

In London: Pineapple Dance Studios' expert crew have danced with Kylie and Madonna, and they're not too good to offer free 1-hour classes to beginners. 7 Langley Street, Covent Garden
