Much like it's good to work for Oprah, it's also good to be friends with Chace Crawford otherwise known as Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl. The pretty boy actor has yet to see his fame levels rise to that of Twilight star Robert Pattinson, but life is still very good for the upcoming Footloose star.
So good that he chartered three V1 jets for his nearest and dearest 15 friends from his hometown of Dallas to celebrate his 24th birthday in The Hamptons his past weekend. Us Weekly has the scoop: ]]>
After six days in Los Angeles and a day in D.C., Jack Bauer will be spending Day 8 in the Big Apple. EW broke the news last week that "24"’s eighth season will take place in New York City. Despite the fact that the show will be set in NYC, most of the episodes will still be shot in Los Angeles with a few exterior scenes filmed in New York City beginning next month.
Even though they haven’t started shooting "24" yet, Kiefer Sutherland is already in New York filming “Twelve” with Chace Crawford. The movie is an adaptation of Nick McDonnell’s novel about a Manhattan high school dropout-turned-drug dealer, whose cousin is brutally murdered and his best friend is arrested for the crime. Is anyone else noticing a pattern? It seems Kiefer is drawn to projects that have numbers in the title.

Blair Waldorf would never approve! "Gossip Girl" guy Chace Crawford had some friends over to his parents' house in Dallas for Thanksgiving--notably costars Jessica Szohr (with whom his character is currently romantic linked on the show) and Ed Westwick, who were all spotted at Dallas-Fort Worth International on their way back to Manhattan. (Westwick is from Hertfordshire, England; Szohr hails from Menominee Falls, Wisconsin.) No Taylor Momsen? What a shame.
For one of them, though, the trip might have held some more significance: Ed and Jessica caught a later flight and were spotted "canoodling" out of "Gossip Girl" territory--though not out of range of their rabid fans. They even flew back together in coach! So what horrible name better suits this unholy pairing: Chunessa? JessEd? Brookhattan?

Haley Bennett plays Molly Hartley, a 17-year-old girl who's the new kid in school--only she's had to switch schools to get away from her mentally disturbed mother who stabbed her.
Molly tries to recover psychologically, but the nightmares still haunt her. That's when she realizes that they're not completely dreams: There are a whole bunch of people (mom included) who want her killed in order to save her from a preordained life as a servant of the Devil. Yikes.
