It's here! The 2008 SI Swimsuit Issue is out today, and as usual it's a globe-spanning affair. As rumored, Ana Beatriz Barros was photographed north of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Brooklyn Decker posed in Caesarea, Israel as did Bar Refaeli, who didn't end up on the cover. That honor went to Marisa Miller, snapped in St. John in the US Virgin Islands, as we reported.

The 2008 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is due to hit newsstands on February 12, and we're hearing lots of rumors about the locations in the issue. Of course the feature destination isn't a secret anymore. Bar Refaeli, above, did a shoot in her native Israel and may even end up on the cover.
According to The Ledger of Lakeland, Florida, Carmella Garcia is one of four wives of pro athletes that will appear in the mag. (She's married to Tampa Bay QB Jeff Garcia.) We don't know for sure where she was photographed, but we doubt it was in her native Avon Lake, Ohio.
Brooklyn Decker will be in the issue, too, also not shot in her hometown (Charlotte, North Carolina). She's sprawled out on a sandy strand that we can't quite place yet. And unconfirmed rumors are swirling that photographers snapped Ana Beatriz Barros in Nicaragua.
