There’s already plenty of awesome options for eats when you travel to—or through—Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, but now even more new restaurants on due to arrive. It’s all part of the latest and greatest addition to the airport, as ATL’s new international terminal is scheduled to debut later this year.

Airport officials haven’t specified where—or when—each new establishment will do its thing, but many of these will hold grand openings later this year, between the new terminal and other vacancies across the airport. London, Paris and Istanbul only just their own Foursquare badges, and now the location-based social networking app has gone even further afield with an additional four badges for more world cities. If you're traveling to New Orleans, Atlanta, Singapore or Sao Paulo, you're going to want to make sure you're not only hitting the top spots in the city, but that you're checking into them as well.

How to get the badges: First, follow 4sqCities, and just to be safe, it wouldn't hurt to also follow the individual city lists here: New Orleans, Atlanta, Singapore, Sao Paulo. Then travel to one or all of the cities and clickety-click to check-in to the places on the recommended lists. Five places earns the badge.

Now with a total of 8 city badges (a Chicago "Windy City" one has existed for a little longer than all the rest), Foursquare is still looking for more cities that deserve the creation of a badge and must-visit list. Big news for travelers in the south! Budget traveler favorite Megabus has just expanded their US route network to include a new hub in Atlanta, Georgia. From the ATL, Megabus will run to 11 cities, of course with all routes and all seats starting from their usual $1 (plus 50 cents reservation fee).

The 11 cities from Atlanta are: Birmingham, AL; Mobile, AL; Montgomery, AL; Charlotte, NC; Chattanooga, TN; Knoxville, TN; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Gainesville, FL; Jacksonville, FL; and Orlando, FL.

It's very easy to stereotype Ireland travel—to say nothing of Ireland itself—as a series of pubs, drunkenness, and the occasional potato farm. We know it's easy because that's almost entirely the picture that Tourism Ireland painted when they did their last social media campaign.

We wrote at the time that the image was a bit unfair, and that neither the country nor the tourists who travel there should be stereotyped. Then we highlighted Ireland, with its gorgeous scenary and summer cultural offerings, as one of the places where you should seriously consider spending your tax refund. Not to give away the ending, but not only were we were demonstrably right, but now there are numbers to prove it.

Figures came out over the weekend on Ireland's top tourism destinations. Wouldn't you know it, and despite the best efforts of frat boys everywhere, the Guinness Storehouse did not take the top stop. Remy is a Sumatran orangutan who was born at the Fort Worth Zoo four months ago, and whose mom unfortunately became too ill to care for him. Looking for a solution, zookeepers fostered him out to the Atlanta Zoo, home of more orangutans than any other zoological exhibit in the United States.

There he was adopted by Madu, "one of the nation’s best surrogate mothers," and the two were removed from public viewing so they could bond.
