The king is dead. Long live the king! When I was crowned Jaunted king eight months ago, I had no idea what would ensue. I would irritate a variety of locals from Detroit to Los Angeles, learn more about airline fare structures than I care to discuss, and of course be lauded on my excellent picture selection, which is just what every writer wants to hear. Beyond that, I got the chance to have my voice out there in the scary world of the internets.

It's been great fun, but now is the time to hang up my blogging pajamas. This will be my last post at Jaunted; I'm off to work on a variety of freelance projects, including food writing and travel that involves getting dressed.

Thank you to Mark for being an excellent fearless leader, and Juliana at HotelChatter for being the best blog sister that I could hope to have.
