New Orleans: Southwest, Wanna Rent a Cash Cube for Us?

Southwest Airlines may be the only airline without a PR problem right now. So why are they additionally showering their passengers with cash -- literally?
Southwest rented a cash cube for a party last week at New Orleans' Louis Armstrong International Airport, celebrating 30 years of service at the Big Easy. And they announced it in a tantalizingly 2.0 way -- by live-blogging and tweeting the cube's arrival (with a picture too!)
Sadly, we think the Cash Cube was just in place for the day. Although, in this economy it would be great to keep it running for the whole year. Besides, this could benefit Southwest tremendously. If people win money from the Southwest cash cube, they might spend their winnings on another Southwest flight. It could be like a mini-Las Vegas operation going on. Think about it S-dubs.

While you're following Southwest on Twitter, you should follow us too -- we might not shower you with cash but we'll keep you informed on sales that could save you some!
Related Stories:
· Super Fly Since '79! [Blog Southwest]
· Celebs' Cash to China at Cannes [Jaunted]
· Southwest Airlines coverage [Jaunted]

Los Angeles: Ain't No Party Like a TSA Party, Cuz a TSA Party Don't Stop

Last week, Jaunted reader Mike took a day trip from Los Angeles to Fresno and back. So he parked his car in short-term parking at LAX and when he picked it up at the end of the day, he noticed this scene going on---a TSA party of some sorts.
Mike says the TSA employees were congregating over some barbeque but he couldn't tell what for. The party did however have a DJ who appeared to be a TSA employee as well. Our only question is, while these people were partying, who was scanning our bags?
A larger photo can be seen here in the Jaunted Flickr Pool.
