Remember earlier this summer when horrified bus passengers in Canada watched as a guy allegedly stabbed and decapitated his 22-year-old seatmate? Well, a Manitoba court determined that the suspect in the case, Vince Weiguang Li, is mentally fit to stand trail.

While Li, who's been charged with second-degree murder, will see his case return to court on November 6, a defense attorney says there's more to it than just this psychiatric assessment:

I agree that he is fit to stand trial, but the issue is whether he is criminally responsible for his actions. My position would be in court that he's not criminally responsible for his actions and he did not know what he was doing was wrong.

It will be for a court to determine whether that's correct or not.

Since we live on the internet, we have trouble giving the mainstream media any credit for anything. (Hey, they never give us nods!) But we have to hand it to the Vancouver Sun for correctly identifying the resort where Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got married. It was one of two places they'd previously picked out, knowing only that they were at "a remote mountain resort" outside Vancouver.

According to Perez, Johansson and Reynolds got hitched at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, where their 40 guests, invited by text message, enjoyed fishing and horseback riding and bedded down in tents. No photos have leaked from the ceremony but we hope his'n'hers Wellies were involved.

Many stars pay lip service to privacy, but few actually take steps to get it. Scarlett Johansson did such a good job of keeping her weekend wedding to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds under wraps, even local authority the Vancouver Sun dithered between two "remote mountain resorts" where the nuptials could have happened.

Johansson and Reynolds reportedly had a small ceremony attended mostly by family, without the red-carpet arrivals of other weddings.

We always have a good chuckle about travelers who end up on the wrong continent by making an online booking to someplace with the same name, but we shouldn't laugh too much--there's just as good a chance we'll do the same one day.

In a recent incident, an Argentinean woman tried to book a flight to Sydney. We'd be thinking Australia, and so was she, but her flights took her to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The funny thing is that tourists have ended up in the Canadian Sydney by mistake before. Perhaps they should start selling toy kangaroos in their souvenir shops and apart from some unexpected weather, maybe nobody will notice.
