Jaunted tipster Lyla was sauntering around Port Jefferson when she spotted an R2 unit of the mailbox variety on Main Street, struck a pose, captured it digitally and sent it in.
Port Jefferson is on the North Shore of Long Island and P.T. Barnum once owned land here, which he intended to use as the home base for his circus. The town put a stop to that and now a different kind of circus hits Long Island every summer.
No idea of R2 has a time share somewhere on the Island.
