Beyonce and Jay-Z have done it, so have Mickey Rourke and U2. It seems like everyone's vacationing in Croatia these days and why shouldn't they? Celebs are finally figuring out what in-the-know tourists have experienced for years; Croatia offers everything other European countries on the Mediterranean do, like gorgeous beaches, sailing, great food and first-class restaurants, but at a cheaper price.
Last summer, the rich and famous were flocking to Croatia for some fun in the sun. U2's bassist, Adam Clayton, took a much needed vacation in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik where he ate dinner at Nautika and drove around in a Mercedes before heading back to his luxury yacht. Jay-Z and Beyonce also stayed in a yacht outside of Dubrovnik but they had a slightly less tranquil time last summer after the paparazzi got a little too close, causing an altercation with one of their bodyguards. In August, Mickey Rourke didn't seem to mind the paps snapping pics of him while he when for a swim with a mystery "friend". ]]>
