The surroundings at SeaWorld this season are what make Manta one of the cheeriest coasters this season. In additional to thousands of lights and decorations around the park, this year SeaWorld is debuting its new Sea of Trees nighttime show. Take a stroll through around 75 trees—some as tall as 30-feet—and watch as the trees almost dance when they change color to the music and their lights reflect off the water.
Of course no visit to SeaWorld could be complete without Shamu, and everyone’s favorite killer whale is performing in Shamu Christmas Miracles through the beginning of 2011. Expect some of the traditional stuff here—jumping out of the water, doing flips, and going through hoops—but with a Christmas soundtrack and overly warm and loving message.
Cap off the day with the park’s Holiday Reflections fireworks finale. It’s not just fireworks here, as of course they need to get some water into things as well. In addition to the lights and booms there will be water fountains and lasers as well all set to some of your best Christmas tunes.
Admission into the park is pricey—just like any theme park in Orlando—but at least they’re offering kids access for just $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. Regular admission starts at just about $80 for a single day ticket, but you can save around $5 by ordering online. There’s all kinds of other deals if you’re staying longer than a day or want to visit Busch Gardens as well, so check it out before just entering your credit card information.
