Try your best to take in all the lights and holiday fun back on the ground while whizzing around the steel track, especially when you’re sent around 200-feet towards the sky. The 90-degree angle during your descent won’t help you orientation toward all the merriment back on the ground, but at least the ride completes its 2,000 feet journey in just a little more than a minute. Just make sure you avoid the ride in case snow does hit Orange County, as the ride doesn’t operate during inclement weather.
The Christmas fun runs through New Year’s Day, so when you finally make it back to solid ground be sure to see Snoopy and his pals during a performance of It’s Christmas Snoopy. Take a picture to prove you survived the coaster in front of the park’s 65-foot tall Christmas tree, or in front of any of their other decorations within Snoopy’s Christmas Light Spectacular. The Peanuts characters also appear in a holiday parade, but if you get sick of that crew you can always visit Elf Mountain. The park recreates the North Pole within the park’s Timber Mountain Log ride, so you’ll be able to get a peak at where Santa and his crew get all their work done.
Admission to the park can be free during certain days this holiday season, so this park should definitely be on your holiday wish list. Now through December 19 if you purchase $15 worth of merchandise for the park’s Toys for Tots drive they’ll let you into the park for free. If you plan on heading to the park a little close to Santa’s big day, then admission tickets are going to start you at around $35 per person.
