The name, thankfully, is not a red herring (ha), and the deli offers authentic takes on all the NYC Jewish classics -- matzo ball soup, chopped liver, egg salad -- and in a nod to the London population, even serves up a Kosher menu of Indian cuisine, so you can have some curry with your schnitzel. Don't kvetch when you realize there's no corned beef on the menu—salt beef is the UK's equivalent; it's just as tasty and goes great with a bagel.
Of course, this is London so every establishment is required to incorporate some kind of tabloid-style celeb-and-soccer worship. There's a sandwich named for semi-Jew Madonna (turkey and pastrami), and another for definitely-not-a-Jew David Beckham (salami-pastrami).
