X-Men Origins: Deadpool's Deadhut

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is set to hit theaters Friday May 1st, and with so much drama in the XMO we put together the beginnings of a travel map that takes you to some of the places the Marvel crew have come from and gone to over the years. This is an organic map, so feel free to add to it in comments and we will plot the additional travel spots we find there.

In X-Men Origins: Wolverine Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool, a mutant left disfigured and mentally unstable after Weapon X cured his cancer via a "healing factor" extracted from Wolverine.

Deadpool, born Wade Wilson, got his name in Doctor Killebrew's Workshop where he became part of a game called "the dead pool" in which inmates bet on which one of them would die next. He eventually escaped and left Canada for San Francisco.

Deadpool took up residence here in The Deadhut, a rotting house in the city by the bay that he disguised using holographic projection as he did with his own appearance.

Comic fans will appreciate San Fran’s annual comic convention, Wonder Con, that brings movie premieres, TV panels and comic book professionals to northern California annually. But as for finding a real-life Deadhut you might be disappointed. San Fran is quite known for its beautiful Victorian houses, such as the "Painted Ladies" that line the city's Alamo Square.

Nevertheless, according to Deadlpool's official MySpace Page he also likes Mexican food in addition to killing people. We recommend stopping into La Tacqueria in the Mission district for some excellent hot tacos stuffed with whatever you like, even beef tongue. Surely, Deadpool has been here before.
