Remembering John Hughes

John Hughes, the movie director who gave the world films like Home Alone, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Planes, Trains and Automobiles, died yesterday of a heart attack while walking in New York City. He was only 59.

Aside from giving kids of the '80s memorable lines to quote for the rest of their lives, John Hughes also paid immense tribute to his hometown of Chicago and its suburbs by filming many movies there. So we will mourn his passing in our own personal way, which is of course to plot some of his more famous movie locations in an effort to tour the world of John Hughes.
