In interest of fairness, we would love to report on the activities of the other possible first lady Cindy McCain. But we haven't seen any evidence of events at which she has spoken without her husband--if you know of any, tip us off, won't you?
We assume today Mrs. McCain, like the senator, is preparing for tonight's standoff. But Gov. Sarah Palin hits New Hampshire with the fury of a wolf hunter with a helicopter, hosting rallies in Dover, Laconia and Salem.
"It is difficult to know what to make of New Hampshire," writes Daniel Nichanian of the Huffington Post, but those four electoral votes seem crucial to the Republicans at this juncture--they are even bringing out "First Dude" Todd Palin for an appearance in Berlin and Littleton.
