The most memorable locations from the late author's oeuvre.
Legendary sci-fi author and director Michael Crichton died yesterday at the age of 66, having succumb to cancer, according to a statement on his website.

From storm chasers in Oklahoma to doctors in Chicago to genetic scientists on a fictional island near Costa Rica, his characters didn't just confront technology gone horribly wrong or the unpredictable behavior of complex systems, they negotiated rich environments that inspired us to learn more about the world.
