Five Hot Hollywood Clubs Right Now (but we can't guarantee they will still be hot in five minutes)
Foxtail in West Hollywood is a particular small venue, despite having three stories worth of space. There are rumors that the rope situation has become a little less atrocious in recent weeks, putting us in that very tiny window where you can brag to your friends about getting in. By next week you'll have to lie about ever having been there. The decor is best described as sensory overload, with incredibly loud music, incredibly cramped spaces, and a huge light crater that helps you taste the rainbow.

2. Coco de Ville
Ditto for Coco de Ville on La Cienega, which looks like a crayon box exploded inside. There are multicolored walls, multicolored couches, and multicolored tables. Like most of these clubs it's a small space, maxing out at about 150 people. As for the composition of the crowd: you know how they say that the perfect club atmosphere is about one-third/two-thirds men to women? The bouncers here are a bit deficient with the math. Don't plan on getting in if you're a guy.

There are lots of snarky things to say about a club like Bardot, where the door policy seems to be based on a complex formula involving the size of your fake boobs, the amount of collagen in your lips, and the last time you were on a reality show. But their press release involves the phrase "Bardot’s ever fattening base of devotees" and that's just too adorable for words. The dress code is exacting even by lounge standards, which is appropriate because the drinks are priced to match. It's a little more low key than some of the other clubs, and the music is pleasantly set to below ear blasting.

MyHouse which opened up a few months ago, seems to be treading a fine line between classy and obnoxiously ostentatious. There are crystals everywhere, sunken spaces, and celebrities necking each other. In contrast to some of these other spaces, where they've made it intentionally difficult to get a drink, MyHouse has multiple bars scattered all over the club.

And finally, for completion's sake: Hyde. The last time TMZ caught Paris Hilton leaving Hyde she was wearing something that could - generously - be described as a negligee. The capacity is probably the smallest of the clubs we've listed, which is kind of an academic point since the bouncers are restrictive on principle. Important legal notice: satisfying as it might be, it is still illegal in California to run over paparazzi. You can kind of roll towards them and scare them a little. But actual physical contact is a strict no-no.
