Now that you've graduated, it's getting harder to avoid finding a job, no? Maybe you should continue the fun, er, education by traveling abroad. It's somewhat cliché, but two recent graduates, Christopher Rufo and Keith Ochwat, realized that there was much more adventure to be had elsewhere. Instead of the roadtrip across the country or the backpack adventure across Europe, they sought out a true adventure, a trip to Mongolia.
Instead of just posting pictures on Flickr, they filmed the whole thing--in HD no less. Upon returning home they spent two years editing their film and pitching their program to public television stations. Their 30-minute documentary, Roughing It: Mongolia, made its debut this summer on PBS.
Chasing Racers is back, with a brand new Amazing Race 10 mashup. This map will update the morning after every new episode. Send along tips, rumors, gossip, locations and spoilers to our map editors, become a member and comment on the stories below, and add to the Jaunted-Flickr photo pool to get in on the fray. Enjoy.
So where did we leave off? Oh, yes: the teams are tearing through China, screaming at natives almost as much as they're screaming at each other. Sarah--well, her artificial leg--was leaking hydraulic fluid. Apparently, "it's like riding with a flat tire." Duke connected a bit with his lesbian daughter even though he "can accept gays and lesbians, but when it's your own daughter..." Rob and Kimberly are still trying to figure out if they're meant to be, and earning our preliminary CuJo award for the team most likely to have a scandalous meltdown.
