The Green Lantern Roller Coaster Arrives at Six Flags Magic Mountain
The Green Hornet has been in theaters for a few weeks now, but there’s another green super hero movie coming out later this year—and it has its very own roller coaster. The LA Times is calling the new ride “the most anticipated new roller coaster of the summer,” so we’re thinking when this thing finally arrives at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California the line is going to be pretty long.
The coaster isn’t going to set any speed records when it debuts, but what makes it so unique and exciting is the way in which in moves riders. Things will be set in a sort of zigzag track, and plenty of tourists and locals alike will hold on for dear life as speeds approach close to 40mph as the ride twists and turns. It kind of simulates a marble falling down a series of tubes, and unfortunately—or fortunately—we’re the marbles.

Rihanna Rides Tatsu at Six Flags
We're still obsessed with the World's Scariest Roller Coasters. Got any rides we should know about? Tip us off.
Rihanna is fearless when it comes to her fashion and her tattoos but it also turns out she's pretty fearless in her amusement park habits as well.
TMZ snapped the singer boarding the Tatsu roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain outside Los Angeles yesterday. Tatsu, the Japanese word for dragon has 3,602 feet of track that goes 62 miles per hour with 263 feet in plunges and is 17 stories high at its peak. Oh yeah, and you're riding face down most of the way. Just watch the video to see for yourself.

Bioparc Valencia: 'The Coolest Zoo' You'll Ever Visit?

Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, has just opened the first phase of a $94 million, state-of-the-art zoo called Bioparc Valencia.
The zoo spans 25 acres and is home to 4,000 animals from 250 species including the old zoo favorites and stand-bys: antelope, zebras, gorillas and leopards.
Yet it's not your grandparents zoo where you walk around and point at animals in cages. The Bioparc reproduces the vegetation, terrain and sounds of the animals' ecosystem while hiding all the man-made stuff like barriers so you can feel a little less guilty about observing animals taken from their natural habitats.

Nicole Richie's Magic Mountain Adventure

The other girl from The Simple Life took a spin on one of the nation's most popular theme parks, Six Flags Magic Mountain, this past weekend. Nicole Richie spent the day at the park hanging out with friends and riding the coasters, just like everyone else. Did they have any trouble strapping her in? Isn't there a minimum weight requirement?
Here's the thrillseeker caught in a photo on the coaster. We bet the Magic Mountain ride is as least as much fun as, say, heroin. How exactly did those wacked out Willy Wonka sunglasses stay on the whole ride? Once Paris Hilton stops being your friend, it sure opens up a wide range of activities.
