The Law of the Lucky Llama
October 8, 2007 at 8:20 AM | 0 Comments

Last time we brought you news about those cuddly-looking South American llamas, we were talking lucky llama fetuses in La Paz, Bolivia. This time around we think there's an even luckier llama: He was found on a train track in Britain and the train stopped until he got out of the way.
The track in question runs between London and Manchester and it was just outside Stoke-on-Trent that the Virgin Trains service had to make an unscheduled pause. The conductor announced that there was a llama on the tracks and instead of getting upset, passengers got a good laugh out of the situation. Could be a new strategy for improving customer satisfaction: turning delays into side trips for wildlife spotting.
